Let me describe my hair to you first. I used to have a long thick black straight hair, heavy and shinny from the age 10 until I was 24 years. I started to have a regular hair cut every six months in different styles from 24 years of age. It took only six months for my hair to grow down to my hip level after every hair cut. Too fast, isn't it? But trust me, the only hair treatment I used was, to oil my hair one and half hour before I shampooed. Normally, I used nothing special for oil. Just Vaseline or something like locally made. Why I used the oil before shampooing was that I did not like smell and the greasy sticky feel after oil applied. When the hair dried up, it would look so shinny, heavy and soft. Here I attached the photos of my hair to show you how thick my hair was then.

Usually I have not seen such a change in my hair, that I see my hair in the house wherever I move, my hair lying everywhere, on the floor, on the bed and rugs. I almost got tired of searching for a cure. Changed my shampoo and conditioner about three times to different products of different companies, (Dove, Garnier & Pantene) from strong to mild. Nothing worked for me but felt worse than before...
Most people lose anywhere from 50 to 100 strands of hair each day, according to the American Academy of Dermatology. On the days when it is washed, people can lose up to 250 strands. They say not to avoid washing in an attempt to keep the hair, as it will fall out eventually, anyway.
I tried my own treatments; like using pure Almond oil after shower when the hair was little wet, and kept until it absorbed with the water. I read somewhere that if we apply hair oil, it's better to use oil before the hair is completely dry. Felt little better but not satisfactory.

Since I never liked Head&Shoulders shampoo, I never thought of using it for my hair-fall treatment despite of having that as an exception. We have that in the bathroom, just in case. So one day, I decided to try the shampoo which is specially for scalp therapy, and amazingly it gave me a good result from day one. Oh my God! I was having this very useful product in my bathroom which I was not aware of. Ultimately I got some relief from my hair-fall. Therefore, I will continue to use the same method (oil treatment plus the new change in shampoo product). But don't be surprised that my talking about Head&Shoulders shampoo here is not an advertisement at all. The products that work for me may not work for you, you need to keep changing the products until you find what suits you. I have realized now that as we grow older we need to change the cosmetics we use accordingly.
Hair-fall phenomenon is generally associated with aging. But if we start to lose the hair beyond the limit, it has a matter of worry and stress mostly. First of all, try to find out the causes of hair-fall. It may be due to the lack of nutritional supplements, chemical use of color or curling and straightening or dandruff. But none of these, curling, straightening and coloring I have tried ever in my whole life. Anyway, I am happy that I have found the solution for the time being, whatever the cause it may be. But will it come back? I hope not...
